The Gallery - Exhibition of the works of John Pickup

In 1972 John joined with fellow Broken Hill artists Eric Minchin, Jack Absalom, Pro Hart and Hugh Schulz to exhibit in Sydney. The outstanding success of the Exhibition led to the formation of “The Brushmen of the Bush”, beginning an artistic journey that led to eventual National, then International acclaim.
